Any suggestions regarding food, roads , hiking, or otherwise?

Taking the M2C finally to some actually good roads nonexistent near Chicago . The weather says rain, but I’m hoping it clears up for at least one day to hunt for driving roads.

Planning on visiting The Pharmacy in Nashville . I want to try Husk really bad, but not sure if the re is time in our schedule. Gr uh n Guitars.

Moog factory is in Asheville; do they do tours? I don’t know anything else about Ashe ville.

Biscuit head in Asheville is a good time for breakfast/brunch, get there early enough and you’ll beat the chaos . Rockys Hot Chicken Shack was also pretty good. I did most of my hiking/biking near Brevard, but I’m sure there’s plenty around Asheville. I always suggest the Sierra Nevada brewery too just because of the sheer mass of the place.

Also, your M2C is bleepin awesome.

That was on my mind. I’m just worried about it getting too busy as I’ve heard it’s a public highway and people won’t really move over during normal  hours.

Thanks! Biscuit Head sounds delicious, but I’m not sure I could handle hot chicken.

You can usually get 1 2 good runs in even with the traffic. I've been there 4 times now and its a hoot to drive. The Harleys are a menace tho...

NC-215 and 276 near Brevard

It’s about an hour from Asheville,  and IMO almost as good as the Dragon.  The views are incredible, and the traffic is minimal, at least in parts of the year.

I like hiking in Pisgah, south of Asheville on the Blue Ridge Parkway, particularly the Shining Rock Wilderness area. Lots of good food options in Asheville, including a really nice place called Posana on Pack Square. Lots of good brewery joints and tap houses, might check out Burial brewing.

While in Asheville, there’s the Bil tmore Estate, which is yuuuuuuuge, known mainly for its yuuuuuugeness.

The mountain biking in the area is amazing. Bailey Mountain bike park is nearby, worth checking to see if they have rentals available if you can’t take a bike with you.

Digger’s Dungeon is also in NC, although it’s about as far away from Asheville as possible while still being in the same state. Still worth it to go see the home of Grave Digger and other monster trucks.
